Efficient Distribution

Our HT/LT Distribution engineering focuses on Power Quality Remediation, ensuring that your facility receives “Clean Power” free from voltage sags, swells, and transients. We install and commission Compact Substations (CSS) and Ring Main Units (RMU) for decentralized power distribution in large industrial complexes. Our “Ring Main” configurations ensure that even if one cable path fails, power can be instantly rerouted through a redundant path, maintaining 100% uptime.

To combat the rising costs of industrial energy, we implement Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) systems with high-speed switching capabilities. Unlike standard capacitor banks, our systems utilize Detuned Reactors to prevent harmonic resonance, which can otherwise lead to capacitor explosions. By maintaining a target power factor of 0.99 lag/unity, we help our clients avoid “Reactive Power Penalties” and unlock “Power Factor Incentives” offered by many state utility boards.

We utilize Power Quality Analyzers to perform “Harmonic Fingerprinting” of your facility. By identifying specific harmonic orders (3rd, 5th, 7th, etc.), we can design bespoke Passive and Active Harmonic Filters that neutralize electrical noise at the source. This is vital for protecting sensitive electronics, such as CNC machines and laboratory equipment, which are prone to erratic behavior when subjected to high Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).

Effective Power Management also involves “Demand Side Management” (DSM). We install smart meters with Peak Load Lopping logic that automatically sheds non-critical loads (like HVAC or non-essential lighting) when the facility approaches its “Sanctioned Load” limit. This prevents heavy “Over-Demand” surcharges and ensures that your facility operates within the contractual limits of the utility provider, optimizing your monthly electricity expenditure.
